On Friday Night I was at the opening of the new Regional Show at The San Diego Art Institute. My painting “The Three Wise Guys was juried into the show and I got an Honorable Mention for “Pouting Ninnies” (Just a little personal PR there…). Anyway, three people came up to me and asked how Zac is doing in Italy. Very sweet. But I don’t really know these folks except that we run into each other at art events. And I’m positive that they don’t know Zac. So once again I am caught off-guard with the realization that there are actually people out there that read my blog. Geez! I get a little queasy just thinking about it. I feel a keen responsibility to be…well, interesting. Thank you to all the folks that actually read these posts to catch up on my kids, my dogs and the neighbors. I am grateful for each and every one of you. But I do hope that my paintings are the real reason you keep coming back.
