Crown Of Feathers #2

8x6" oil on canvas, SOLD

This painting was done for Eileen in Washington. She loved my first "Crown Of Feathers" but it had already sold to my friend Laura. So, for Eileen, who had surgery this week, another funny little guy with a bird atop his noggin'. Don't know why, but I really like to paint birds with my wacky people. Jill, in my painting class, says the idea of a nest is so comforting but also the bird represents freedom. I like that. So that's my story. And I'm stickin' to it.

Hope you're feeling better Eileen!
