Red Breasted Worry Wart

10x8" oil on canvas, SOLD

OK, I admit it. I'm a worrier and lately I've been worrying with gusto. Seriously, you'd think I actually have some control over things the way I can work myself into a tizzy. I should just get over it and live by these wise words: Control is an illusion. Now, put on your big girl panties and get to work!

I noticed you hadn't posted for awhile and I hope all is well. I wish I could see your really big paintings in person. You are so original, Brenda. and I really get a kick out of your paintings and comments. And, listen, don't worry. It's not worth it because all that worrying does not have the power to change one little thing. Forget the past and let the future unfold. Just enjoy every moment in the present.

Love the boobs! :))
I decided when I was about 18 (a long time ago) that my bit of worrying was not likely to change the course of events, it would just make me less able to cope, so I gave it up. Which is not to say I NEVER worry about anything. I just save it for the important stuff. Most of what people worry about is unimportant in the grand scheme of things. I always try to think about things on a cosmic timescale - you know...... in a hundred years time who's going to care???
