Twig Was A Clever Bird

30x24" oil on canvas, email: brendayork7@aol.com for purchase info

I just learned today that this painting will be included in the San Diego Art Institute's new juried show of "Outstanding Visual Artists of the Region". The show runs from August 28 through October 5. The artist reception will be held on Friday evening, September 5. All are welcome to attend. This is another piece from my "Going Green" series for the month of August. I kinda like having a theme to work with (sometimes structure is good...even for artists). I would welcome any suggestions for a September theme...I'm running low on green paint.

You did a terrific job on the whole Going Green series. I especially like Traveling Light, it has a great atmosphere.

Looking back in the blog I find Ten Feet Under(June 18) really interesting. How about a September theme about Wild Ideas?

Wow! Many thanks to both of you! Shawn, "Wild Ideas" would be a great theme for me--almost too easy. Definitely a possibility!
