Yep, I’ve been M.I.A. As much as I’d like to believe that I can paint every day, no matter what’s going on around me, sometimes it just ain’t true. Last week, for instance, I moved my studio--literally only steps away. From one room to another. And, as much as I tried to make the transition smooth and simple, it was nothing short of pure chaos. I’m a clutter control nightmare. I swear my art supplies made babies—I mean really, who needs 14 HB pencils and 12 tubes of Naples Yellow. Gouache, no less. (I haven’t painted with gouache since college.) So aside from my commission work, I did no other painting last week. But now I’m back at my easel and raring to go!
