A Decent Girl

12x30" oil on canvas

Open Road. No map. Drove west.

Six-Word memoir of my eighteen year old self. True story: I drove from Kansas City (where I grew up) until I saw the sign on Freeway 8 that says "Beaches". Took the next exit and never looked back.

Great story! Love your decent girl--is it a self-portrait, then???
