Frank N. Stein

8x6" oil on canvas, SOLD

My friend and fellow Daily Painter, Chris Beck challenged several of her artist friends to do a special painting for Halloween. I, of course, went through many pages in my sketchbook of pumpkins, witches and black cats. But ultimately Frank won me over--lovable and creepy at the same time. And a really good excuse to paint a guy with a ghoulish-green face. Scary stuff, right? Hop on over to Chris Beck's blog or Pablo Villicana Lara's blog to see all the Halloween paintings created by this group of talented and diverse painters or you can visit each artist's individual blog for a real treat. Happy Halloween!

This is SO. COOL. Very post-cubistic, or something equally arty.

Can I admit, on Halloween, to being a lurker? A long time fan, now I have an excuse to comment! Love Frank. And Miss M, Margo, Bernie and the rest of the gang.

Thank you to everyone! And big kudos go to Chris and Pablo for organizing all the artists on the Halloween theme. Not only was it great fun but we got to discover fabulous new talent. Glad Frank N. Stein got lots of love from the cyber world and now it's on to those wacky Christmas angels! Stay tuned!

Terrific work - I love the colors and the patchwork effect. Love the technical kinda text in the background, too. Great job!
