OK, time for a reality check. It's looking more like a 20 in 30 day challenge right now. And I'm OK with that. Really. 

These little "points of departure" have really triggered my excitement to do some BIG-A** paintings--they've been a great way to explore new themes, techniques and materials. But I've been focused on small pieces for a year and now it's time to go big! I'll be painting for a fall show and some new pieces for my galleries--stay tuned. In the meantime, I've got a few more of these little guys up my sleeve.

I did this painting along with three others on the same day (I should get extra credit, right?) Anyway, I really like the way they all look together. Here they are in my studio getting some last minute "love".
