"The Yo-Yo And The Yellow Door"

7"x 5" oil on canvas panel, $100 in SOLD

In my former life I did illustrations for children's books and I love paintings with a narrative quality; a story to tell. Kids always have their own way of seeing the story in a painting with a keen sense of honesty and wackiness. I love that. I have realized lately that I miss painting for the pint-sized audience so here's the first in a series of whimsical paintings for my favorite patrons--the kids. I'd love to hear your story of this painting.
