As far back as I can remember I have drawn and painted faces. I've always felt that a person's face shows the story of their life. Recently, I've been more interested in "deconstructing" the architecture of the face to see how far I can abstract it and maintain the human elements. I 'm also experimenting with the paint application; drawing into the thickly applied pigment. These pieces are a bit of a shift in style for me and I would love to hear your comments!
