I've been a mom for 21 years. I don't think I'm any smarter now than I was 21 years ago, although I've read every parenting book I could get my hands on. Less smart, more confused. It's hard work and most days it's worth it. The other days...well, let's just say it's a good thing that my passport has expired. I'm so lucky to have two great kids and two fabulous step-kids.
