Traveling Light

10x8" oil on canvas, PURCHASE INFORMATION

My 20 year old son, Zac, told me today that he has too much stuff. He said when he goes back to college in a month we should sell all of his belongings in his room. Everything. It might just be me, but I really don’t think he has an abundance of personal property. Except for a collection of headphones. And music. Other than that, he travels light. His mother, on the other hand, is sentimental. He casts off; I hold on. It’s always been that way. And I’ve got the boxes of memories to prove it.

You have a great use of color. Your paintings always put a smile on my face.
