Elf-Angel

24x18" oil on canvas, PURCHASE INFORMATION

I've always had a thing for the underdog. The same holds true for the sorry little elves and and homely angels that are kept hidden in the art history books and the holiday classics. Think about it. Have you ever come across an unbeautiful angel? Or an unsightly looking elf? Not a chance. So here's my version--all rolled up into one crusty Elf-Angel.

Love it! This could almost change my opinion about cold winter weather!

Thanks, Helen. He's a little weird, don't you think? Even the snow is kind of weird in this painting...oh well. Glad you like him and thanks for stopping by!

Love it! You must have got the snow from that Frank Zappa song - Don't go where the huskies go, Don't you eat that yellow snow.
LOL. Love all the little trees too.

Thanks Sue. Now I'll never think of Frank Zappa in the same way--not that I ever really thought of him before...
