and Happy 2014! I always look forward to a fresh start and this year I have so
many new ideas to experiment with that I was very happy to commit to do a “30
in 30” (30 paintings in 30 days) challenge with about 400 other artists for the
month of January. Artist, Leslie Saeta hosts this challenge on her blog and I
thought it might be a good kick in the pants to start off the New Year.
Here’s my plan: I am using
this challenge as 30 days of experimentation; 30 days of R&D. All the ideas
and concepts, all the new materials, new subjects and styles that I’ve wanted
to try out but haven’t had time to play with are coming off the back burner and
onto my easel.
Each day in January I will
post a new piece—all acrylic on paper, with a white mat and backing in a poly
sleeve (like in the photo below). The image size is approx. 4 5/8 x 6 5/8” and
the mat is 8x10”. They will be priced at $125 with free US shipping.

Most of all, I hope that
you will leave feedback in the comments—I really appreciate hearing from my followers
and collectors. Your feedback will help me decide which pieces will become large
paintings in the upcoming months.
