Boneyard Forest

19x27" (triptych) | acrylic, collage and charcoal on canvas | SOLD

So excited to report that this piece was chosen as a finalist in the 2013 Artist’s Magazine’s Annual Competition in the Abstract/Experimental category. Actually, they chose three of my paintings! (I will post the other two soon.) It's extra meaningful because this is a bit of a new direction for me--a little more botanical than usual. Feels good to get those positive strokes when you are tip-toeing down a new path!

Oh, and this painting sold this weekend to one of my favorite and most supportive collectors. Thanks, Carol! I really hope you enjoy your new painting.
