Nigel's Heart On The Line

6x6" oil on canvas, SOLD

This piece is a little different from my usual...a little more loose; a little less fussy. Something I'm always chasing after. That uncomplicated look that seems like it just rolls off the brush. Right. Easier said than done to be sure. I'm experimenting with doing the line work with oil bars--they are mushy and fat. You just can't do fussy when you are drawing with oil bars. Plus it's just a little like drawing with those fat crayons you had in kindergarten.
